L'ostéopathie est une médecine manuelle qui cherche à prendre en compte le patient dans sa globalité afin de trouver la cause du symptôme : la « dysfonction primaire ».
Celle-ci peut être d'origine crânienne, viscérale, et/ou musculo-squelettique, mais aussi émotionnelle, domaine peu abordé dans notre cursus scolaire. Ce mémoire a donc pour but d'approfondir le domaine émotionnel via le sternum.
En mêlant ostéopathie et médecine traditionnelle chinoise, une cartographie émotionnelle du sternum a été établie puis vérifiée sur 80 patients.
Celle-ci n'a pas été vérifiée, mais nous pouvons confirmer le lien entre le sternum, les dorsales, les organes et les émotions, ainsi que l'existence d'émotions dites « pathologiques » ancrées sur le sternum et mises en évidence par un point douloureux qui signifierait un kyste d'énergie.
Ce mémoire révèle une dominance majeure de l'état émotionnel « souci », aussi bien exprimé par les patients, que par les tests. A présent, un traitement somato-émotionnel sur le sternum pourrait être proposé.
Osteopathy is a manual medicine which seeks to take into account patient as a whole in order to find the cause of a symptom: the âprimary dysfunctionâ. This primary dysfunction can have a cranial, visceral and/or muscular-skeletal origin, but also an emotional one. However, we have not spent much time studying it in our school curriculum. This Master thesis aims to deal with the emotional field in depth through the sternum.
Combining osteopathy and traditional Chinese medicine, a cartography of emotions on sternum has been designed and it has been checked on 80 patients.
Even though it has not been verified, we will confirm the link between sternum, dorsal vertebra, organ and emotion, as well as the realness of âpathologicalâ emotions anchored on sternum, highlighted by a stabbing pain which means a cyst of energy.
This Master reveals a major dominance of âworryingâ, expressed both by patient and sternum. Now, an emotional somatosensory treatment on the sternum could be proposed. |
