Etude comparative sur l'amplitude de mouvement de l'articulation tibio-talienne, entre la technique d'énergie musculaire et l'étirement statique du muscle gastrocnémien / Gregory Pailleret
Titre : Etude comparative sur l'amplitude de mouvement de l'articulation tibio-talienne, entre la technique d'énergie musculaire et l'étirement statique du muscle gastrocnémien Titre original : Comparative study, on the range of motion of the tibio-talar joint, between met and static stretching of gastrocnemius muscle Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Gregory Pailleret, Auteur ; Mark PIRAINO, Directeur de la recherche Editeur : European School of Osteopathy Année de publication : 2001 Importance : 43 p. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Mémoire Mots-clés : Tibio-talar MET Muscle Energy Technique Static Stretching Résumé : This study was conducted to investigate the greater effect of the Muscle Energy Technique (MET) comparing to Static Stretching (SS) on the range of motion of the tibio-talar joint after a long term treatment.
In order to achieve this study, a number of thirty subjects were recruited from the students of the European School of Osteopathy.
The subjects were asked to approve the consent form and were aware of the applied technique.
After all the measurement, a T test was used to confirm the statistical efficiency of the techniques.
It was found that each technique was efficient compare to the control group.
It was also found that MET was more efficient than SS, this efficiency was confirmed by the T test.Etude comparative sur l'amplitude de mouvement de l'articulation tibio-talienne, entre la technique d'énergie musculaire et l'étirement statique du muscle gastrocnémien = Comparative study, on the range of motion of the tibio-talar joint, between met and static stretching of gastrocnemius muscle [texte imprimé] / Gregory Pailleret, Auteur ; Mark PIRAINO, Directeur de la recherche . - European School of Osteopathy, 2001 . - 43 p.
